Female walker in la Gorge de la Nesque, Vaucluse, Provence, France
La Gorge de la Nesque is a dramatic limestone valley with steeps cliffs in the South of France. A GR Grande Randonnee route goes through it and up the other side. Right at the bottom is a chapel carved into the rock and a river bed which is dry in summer. Mature female walker in her 50s enjoys the splendid isolation. The lady dispels the typical stereotype of older people and is fit and active in the mountains. She projects a great positive image.
