Wefind the members of the Regiment scattered all over this land ofours. They live in nearly every State of this Union and areengaged in nearly all the trades and professions. Some are bank-ers, some are lawyers, doctors and ministers of the gospel. Wehave one member of the Regiment who enlisted as a private sol-dier, was promoted to Corporal, to Sergeant, and to Second Lieu-tenant. When he was discharged he returned to school, and aftertaking a course in one of our State Normal Schools, studiedlaw and was admitted to practice. He moved to one of the citiesof the western part of the State, and soon became an active mem-ber of the profession in that city. He was appointed to the highposition of U. S. District Attorney f
