In the spring of 1759, the children of Ulrich Zug dividedthe farm into two equal parts, of 175 acres, one to Jacob,and one to Michael, the others all releasing for their shares,all signing their names in German. The last we know ofPeter Zug is in 1762, when he, with others, stood in defenseof Elder George Adam Martin, and opposed his excom-munication, and were anxious to reinstate him, etc. (, p. 331).
