GULF OF MEXICO (June 16, 2016) - Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Talia Acree, from Costa Mesa, California, right, signal for Sailors serving on the chock and chain team aboard the Harper's Ferry class dock landing amphibious assault ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) to approach a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from Alpha Company "Talons" of 1228th Flight Regiment to secure it to the flight deck during flight operations while the ship is anchored off the coast of Honduras. Oak Hill is delivering the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Southern Command (SPMAGTF-SC) which while deployed in Central America will support engineering assistance projects in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Belize. The SPMAGTF-SC will be available to support disaster relief and disaster preparedness, if requested. Oak Hill is deployed to the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
