Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, built over a period of 100 years between and 1050 AD. Originally there were 80 temples but now only 20 remain. The temples are famous for series of erotic sculptures and carvings. The Khajuraho Group of Mouments is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
