Estaing, Aveyron, SW France. The chateau was once owned by the bishops of Rodez and associated with the former president of France, Giscard d'Estaing.

The village was on one of the routes to Santiago de Compostella and pilgrims would have made their way to Conques famous for its shrine of St Foy.
