The Black-billed Cuckoo,never a common bird in this vicinity,has practically disappeared as Ihave not seen any during the pastthree years. These as well as other speciescould be cited to show how all birdshave increased or decreased in thevicinity of Philadelphia and the con-ditions are probably the same inother cities everywhere.
