Amy Gunderson frolics in The Mermaid Parade in famed Coney Island on Surf Avenue on June 22, 2002. The parade, which celebrates the coming of the Summer Season brings outs eccentrics, exhibitionists and just plain old folk in their finest Mermaid, Merman and sometimes unrecognizable costumes.
