The 8 foot tall ice sculpture, showing a woman with a child and a dog, represents some of the most vulnerable communities affected by heatwaves and other extreme weather events. As it melts in the blazing Delhi sun, it sends a message 'Act Before We Melt Away' urging the National Disaster Management Authority to declare heatwaves a national disaster.
