PHILIPPINE SEA (July 3, 2021) Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Jerick Ireland, from Osborne, Idaho, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21 (HSC 21) performs maintenance on a MH-60S Sea Hawk Helicopter while underway on the independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Tulsa (LCS 16), July 3. Tulsa, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment, operating in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
