Happy Danish students celebrate their high school, grammar school graduation with the traditional dance round and plunge into the cold water of the Stork Fountain (Storkespringvandet) on the pedestrian street Stroeget in Copenhagen to the vast amusement of the surrounding tourists and visitors. This is a traditional element on the day of celebration for graduated students in Greater Copenhagen. It is often part of the long, exhausting and high-spirited truck tour visiting each student’s home for refreshments.
