. The North Devon coast. /night, for, in the course of two summers, manythousands of people who might not otherwisehave visited Lundy, have taken the trip to see thepoor, rust-streaked wreck. They land upon thebeach, and, toiling painfully up and over therocky spine of the island, come to a grassy clifts-edge. There, below, lies the Montagu, and upabove they sit, perhaps a couple of hundred ofpeople, gazing upon the reddened decks, awashwith the waves, until prudence bids them hasten.
