The end of the hunting season is the second reason for abandonment in Spain, after unwanted litters, according to data provided by the annual report of the Affinity Foundation. The demonstration of this 2023 is the largest so far, calling demonstrations in 44 Spanish cities and in eleven international ones on February 5 at 12 in the morning (peninsular time). "From the main capitals to the smallest cities, there are also five German cities, three French ones, Zurich (Switzerland), The Hague (Holland) and Warsaw (Poland)," they detail. The NAC platform emerged in 2010 following the initiative of Gemma García (its president) to agglomerate the small demonstrations that were taking place in Madrid at that time by some associations and protectors against hunting activities. "Everyone did their rallies and walks, especially greyhounds, but they were very small things; many, but small," explains David Rubio, spokesman for the NAC platform.
