In the summer months when the windows are open smokingwill be allowed on the three rear seats on each side of the aisle,the same as in regular open car work. International registersare used. The road is single track throughout, with turnouts every fiveminutes; it is possible to run cars, therefore, on ten-minute head-way, and at present the Sunday and holiday traffic requires that this Providence Strike Declared Off. T-rail with Continuous bonding is all done by protected rail bonds. In addition to the new power station, a handsome new car househas been built on the outskirts of Norristown. Considerable prop-erty is owned here by the company, and the capacity of this carhouse, which is now seventy-five cars, may easily be doubled, as thehouse is set so far back that a long approach of track is necessaryto reach it. If found desirable these yard tracks may be covered inby building the car house forward. The building is built of brick,and all of the car tracks entering it have pits their full length, therails being supported on stringers
