The flowers are of medium size, semi-double, very freely produced in clusters of from three to six flowers each on much branched canes, the plants being literally covered with flowers from lop to bottom. It is of strong climbing habit and perfectly hardy. This Rose has been most highly commended by the English horticultural press. It was awarded a Gold Medal by the National Rose Society and an award of Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society of England, and was also awardea during the summer of 1918 the much coveted Gold Medal at the Bagatelle Gardens, Paris.
