WHITE BEACH, Japan (Sept. 3, 2021) A Commander Fleet Activities Okinawa port operations-contracted tug boat returns to CFAO White Beach Naval Facility as Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Tulsa (LCS 16) departs. Tulsa conducted a brief stop for resupply at CFAO White Beach Naval Facility. Tulsa, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operation to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
