Canosa Di Puglia, Italy. 26th Mar, 2016. On the Holy Saturday, during the week of Easter, takes place in Canosa di Puglia (Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani), the procession of the Desolata (Our Lady of Sorrows). The statue of the Virgin is followed by a group of about three hundred and fifty girls, totally dressed in black and with their face covered by a black veil, who sing the heartbreaking song by the name of 'Hymn of the Desolate'.
