The type that has been used chiefly is known as the CarnegieSteel Tie, illustrated herewith, and for which a number of differentweights of sections are given in Table 90a. These are made up insections varying in weight from 20 to lbs. per foot. The rolledsteel plates and fastenings are not included in the weights andhave to be added when making up the cost figures.
