Cecil's pride has recruited one more female making it a strong pride ( Its now a pride of 11). HWANGE NATIONAL PARK, ZIMBABWE: THE FINAL two sons sired by Cecil the Lion before he was killed just over a year ago have been discovered by safari guides. Intimate pictures from the Zimbabwean bush show the two seventeen-month-old male cubs, who will not be named until they turn two, with their sisters and the rest of the small pride that remains. The male cubs have been brought up by a group of lionesses known as the Junior Spice Girls who were part of Cecil’s pride which was also led by another male who was mistakenly known as the cubs’ uncle, Jericho. However, according to Peter Gave, the senior guide at Somalisa African Bush Camp, Jericho didn’t come back to the pride after Cecil’s death and the females had to look after themselves.
