Sherlock Holmes 'The Man Who Never Lived And Will Never Die' Exhibition, Museum of London, England, UK The new exhibition celebrating Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective Sherlock Holmes 'The Man Who Never Lived And Will Never Die' opens at Museum of London from October 17th 2014 - April 2015. This major exhibition – London’s first on the detective since 1951 will show early film, photography, paintings and original artefacts, the exhibition will recreate the atmosphere of Sherlock’s London. Picture shows Alex Werner, Head of History Collections and Curator of the exhibition stood next to the portrait of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle at its UK unveiling, as part of the new exhibition. The newly conserved 1897 portrait was painted by Sidney Paget, who also illustrated Conan Doyle's short stories.
