Ditchford Lock, Northamptonshire, UK. Sunday 4th November 2012. First attempt to recover the partially sunk Longboat Gurnamore which got into difficulties on Thursday 1st November. The River and Canal Rescue services attempted to retrieve the boat in heavy rain and strong currents today, but gave up after 7 hours, when the narrowboat ended up more submerged. The Environment Agency was in attendance.
