Embargoed until 11th January 2016 - Contact Anna Penney, PR for Channel 5 07920280251 for more information. 10K BC Host and survival/archaeology consultant Klint Janulis partnering with survival expert and Primitive tool manufacturer Manse Ahmed (of Wilderness Pioneers), 10K BC Survival and Primitive Tech Expert Adam Hendley and Palaeo Archaeologist Cory Cuthbertson to present a Palaeo Experience for select media. The experience was conducted in a University of Oxford experimental recreation of a cold climate grass thatched shelter and in a working stone age camp. The hosts guided the media attendees through what life was like for the participants of 10K BC 2 and how it relates to what we know about the archaeology of our ancestors. The hosts focussed on the unusual, the unexpected, and the realities of stone age life and how it relates to modern society. The participants learned a bit of stone age technology, engaged in making some stone age art, and some stone age cuisine (that we have updated slightly to be a bit more engaging to the modern palate).
