I arose very early the next morning, and, looking outof my window, I noticed that the weather, though clear,was very windy. There were not many passengers ondeck, for many of the passengers were already meals that day there was hardly any one at* the table;and before evening came on nearly every one went totheir state-rooms. The next day, which was Saturday, the weather wasstill worse. A few gentlemen, two or three ladies, andtwo little boys and myself were the only ones at thebreakfast-table.
