St Cwyfan`s Church at sunset, Aberffraw, Anglesey, North Wales The 12th Century Church dedicated to St Cwyfan (Kevin) was built 1 1/2 miles inland. Due to land erosion it is now cut off at high tide. A revetment was built to protect the building.
