In the central part of the icon, to the right of Mary we find her parents Saint Anna and Saint Gioacchino, doctors of the Church ,Anselm of Aosta, archbishop of Canterbury who died in the early 1100s and canonized in 400, and Saint Girolamo, translator of the Vulgate. Then we see St. Augustine and St. Bernard.
