A triangle is an unbleached muslin cone tocover the leg and thigh. For tubes of packing it is a waste of time to roll themtightly in a wayward square cover. Make a long narrowdouble tubular bag (Fig. 39, 6), with a drawstring at theneck, and put the tube in it. Of these there should bemany, one for each tube in the sterile stock, one cleanextra for each, one being laundered, etc. All dressing-covers, including these bags, should be very frequentlylaundered and bleached to counteract the burning theyget in the sterilizers. Gown Covers.—Again, it is a pity to ask a nurse to tugwith gowns (Fig. 39, a). Rather provide covers speciallyfor the gowns. Each should have a double cover with aflap and boxed edges, somewhat resembling a squarecushion, and dome fasteners. This saves
