This was the first time 36th Infantry Division Soldiers executed a TAC jump on a deployment. The Soldiers worked together and placed more than a mile of concertina wire for physical security. Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awareness to command. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
