Members of the 3rd Marine Regimental Communications Section set up a multi-channel radio link between the Rockpile and Camp Carroll in October 1966. This link would provide telephone communication to the westernmost battalion of the regiment for the first time. The photo was taken by Capt. Arnold and is part of the Defense Department's collection.
