No plant is more easily grown, and none more tenacious of life, enduring alike dust, cold and heat from open windows and gas-heated air of our dwellings. The de- mand for this particular kind is perhaps rive times that of any- other. Leaves large, fau shaped, of cheerful green color. Plant of hardy constitution, and adapted to all decoraiive purposes, within or without doors; appreciated by all the plant-loving community. With age the plant attains noble proportions, and becomes very valuable. When too large for the house it can readily be sold. Small plants, io cents ; extra large stocky plants, $, $, $ and $ each. MINIATURE FAN PALM, LIVISTONA ROTUNDIFOLIA-Resem- bling Latauia Borbonica, but very much more dwarf and compact in habit, and having much smaller and handsomer leaves, which are of the most|perfect shape. The leaves are circular in form, only about eight to ten inches in diameter, and deeply toothed. Very small plant* throw up an unusual nun berof these beautiful leaves, furnishing and finishing the plant, making very perfect specimens whenonlva foot high-plants of this height having as many as a dozen well developed, pdy constitution, and useful and graceful character.
