Sai Ying Pun and Sheung Wan, west of Central, are two of the oldest, least modernised parts of Hong Kong. where everyday street life includes open fronted shops selling everything from daily necessities such as meat, vegetables, dried fish and seafood to traditional Chinese medicine. Goods from the trading houses and shops often overflow onto the pavement.
