Polychaete marine worm (Glycera capitata). Polychaetes are a class of annelid (segmented) worms. Each segment has a pair of fleshy un-jointed limb-like appendages (parapodia) which aid in locomotion. This specimen was photographed in the White Sea on the northwest coast of Russia.
