Front and back views of a Vase-neck, with very curious incised signs and perhaps a man withuplifted arms. (Half actual size. Depth, about 17 ft.) see, perhaps, the very rude figure of a man with uplifted arms, whosehead is almost as large as the whole remainder of the body. I do notattempt to explain the rest of the decoration. On No. 1003 the signin the middle resembles a written character. The clay of this vase-head is
