Jamaica Inn. Bodmin Moor. Cornwall. Made famous by the writer Daphne du Maurier's novel with the same title and made into films and television dramas. That was a story of widespread smuggling in the local area. The inn has a Daphne du Maurier museum attached with a collection of private letters and other artifacts associated with her life.
