Only a few miles separate the 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment from their home station at Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany, April 1, 2015. The squadron drove 1,800 km from Estonia through Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, the Czech Republic and finally Germany. The road march was called Dragoon Ride, and it exercised the unit’s maintenance and leadership capabilities and demonstrated the freedom of movement that exists within NATO.
