Mallard landing onto clear blue water with perfect formation, legs positioned correctly and wings outstretched in gliding mode to avoid crash landing posibilities. This bird is the most commonest and most widespread duck of the region. Breeds near still waters,including lakes, ponds , marshes, estuaries and seashores in the UK and elsewhere. They rarely dive deep into water preferring to feed on the surface of the water or upending.
