Contemporary paper cutting with birds and floral design by Miss Wanda Skowron from Warszawa Poland
Traditional paper-cuttings in Poland were created using sheep shearing scissors but it is possible to use any scissors (including manicure scissors) as long as they have a sharp points. The curve in manicure scissors is good for cutting round or curved shapes. The scissors are used as a drawing tool without the need to mark or draw the design first. Comment Wanda Skowron 2010
