They are mostly of medium size,the women stocky, with thick ankles, though otherwisetheir figures are quite good. The Ot-Danum men, likethe Murungs, Siangs, and Katingans, place conspicu-ously on the calf of the leg a large tatu mark representingthe full moon. When preparing to be photographed,men, women, and children decorate their chests withcrudely made gold plates shaped nearly like a half moonand hanging one above another, generally five in of the blians was a Malay.
