Among the streetrailway companies carrying mail is the United Railways & consists of a letter case of fifty-six compartments, a drop rackfor holding mail pouches, a sheet-iron covered table for can-celling mail, two wardrobes, a wash basin and a combinationcooler and tank. There is also a drop table, used for cancellingparcels, etc. All the mail cars are painted white, striped in blue. Allnumbers and lettering are in gold. No side or hood signs are on the cars, but each car isequipped with a sheet-iron dash sign, g
