Brenda Bumstead supports the Providence Orphans and Caregivers Trust, a self-help charity working for children in Matebeleland in Zimbabwe - Zimaid. Communities and people in the country are under enormous economic pressure following many years of challenge, and Brenda displays intricate craft work made by Matabeleland young people and sells them to support the charity. With the outbreak of cholera, the situation in the country became very desperate. The organisation went on a Anti-Cholera Drive Campaign to render assistance to the vulnerable poor with no access to medicines and water purifiers. This is achieved by raising awareness through various Church organisations and other philanthropic groups.
