Picture dated March 14th shows QueensÕ College closed in Cambridge on Saturday due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The world-famous university city of Cambridge was empty this morning (Sat) with shoppers and tourists staying away as coronavirus spreads across Britain. The River Cam in the historic city centre was also quiet with punt operators suffering from the lack of Chinese and Japanese tourists. The picturesque Backs would normally be packed with punts on a sunny spring day, but today there were only a handful on the river.
