Nikon D700, 1/640 Sec, F8, ISO200, FL24MM March in Northern AZ the cottonwood trees begin to bud. It gives the tree a beautiful golden color, and against the lightly clouding sky produces a color contrast which is captivating. Cottonwood Canyon Road is easily accessible and runs for about 45 miles but a 4x4 vehicle in necessary to insure completion of the journey. One must also come back on the same road. Northern Arizona Southern Utah always have a variety of landscapes throughout the year.
