The boys of Zyken Village can’t help but peer inside the new all-girls school in their village following a ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially opened the new building on Nov. 22, 2009, Farah Province, Afghanistan. The school features eight fully furnished classrooms with brand new desks for the girls to enjoy. Math, science, and languages will all be taught to the 800 Afghan girls expected to attend the school.
