Callistemon Bottle brush Myrtaceae - a genus of 25 species of evergreen trees and shrubs occuring in Australia and Tasmania. Many species are outstanding for their bottle brush like scarlet flower spikes. The flowering species are half hardy and require a cool greenhouse cultivation except in the mildest areas. Citrinus, linearis, salignus, subulatus.
