Holloman Air Force Base participated in the Proud to be a 49'er Fun Run Jan. 3, 2017 to ring in the New Year. The run was held on the flight line with an option to run mile or 5K. Participants were encouraged to show their pride by wearing anything that demonstrated their Air Force pride, such as a favorite team jersey or a fun costume. Col. Houston Cantwell, the 49th Wing commander recognized individuals that go above and beyond with pride, professionalism and performance.
