Gaillardia Grandiflora Compacta. 5842 New compact growing variety of the hardy perennial Gaillardia, forming bushy plants 12 to 15 inches high, and bearing its long stemmed flowers well above the foliage. In coloring the flowers are exactly as rich and varied as those of the tall growing sort. As the plants produce their flowers most profusely, and in constant succession from June till Autumn, this novelty with its improved habit, will prove one of the most desirable of all hardy perennials grown for cut flowers. Blooms the first year from seed if sown early. Per pkt. 15 cts.; 2 pkts. for 25 cts. A New Race of Tall and Dwarf Nasturtiums. â 6184 Tall Chameleon. This highly interesting new variety presents a most unusual feature, which is that the flowers are of different colors on the same plant, and that they are variously blotched, splashed, striped and bordered with these several colors. On one and the same plant self-colored flowers are found, others curiously stained or flushed on clear ground, while others are broadly edged with light shades or have dark margins. The marvelous contrast produced by the numerous blooms, each so conspicuously different, is most charming. Per pkt. 10 cts ; per oz. 50 cts. 6132 Dwarf Chameleon.
