Marine Private First Class Jesse R. Martinez takes a break to have lunch with South Vietnamese farmers who extended an invitation. Martinez, a member of the Force Logistic Command Provisional Rifle Co., conducted daily patrols in nearby villages and hamlets surrounding the FLC Headquarters complex. This complex, located eight miles Northwest of Danang, provided supplies and maintenance support for US Marine and Republic of Korea forces operating in Vietnam's I Corps.
