Notes Print from a drawing by Raphael in the Albertina in Vienna (inv 217). This print is the right of a set of two prints which formed a frieze together in a previous state. The study for the left picture is in the Musee du Louvre in Paris (inv 5002). In the described by Bartsch copy of the frieze in the Albertina Vienna runs the third figure from the left by the left and right plate. The arm of this maenad is extended, and it maintains a ring of vines, as well as in the drawing of Raphael. In this picture, however, the arm of the maenad and part of her dress on the right plate was removed Where: caused by a potential stand-alone presentation. The removal is on the left still zichtbaar.
