The round stone flour mill "De Hoop" (1874) in Zierikzee (Zeeland), Netherlands

De Hoop is a round stone flour mill in the city of Zierikzee, in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is the youngest of the two remaining flour mills in the city. The mill is located on Lange Nobelstraat, an extension of the Nobel Gate. The first wooden mill at this location was erected in 1788. In 1850 the mill was replaced by a stone one. After a fire in 1874, the mill was rebuilt into a slender brick mill. The current miller is T. van der Bok.
