Nobel Prize. Conceptual artwork representing the Nobel Prizes, leading awards made annually for outstanding cultural and scientific advances. Established in 1901, they are awarded in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace. The Nobel Prize medallion here forms the centre of the flower, with the bas-relief showing the founder of the prizes, Swedish philanthropist and inventor Alfred Nobel.
