Erskine Tennis Team. 1 908 There have been two intercollegiate tennis tournaments held in SouthCarolina. In these two tournaments practically all of the State colleges wererepresented. A loving cup is offered for the championship in doubles, and alsofor the championship in singles. Erskines representatives have won both cupsin both tournaments. These cups are shown in the above cut, and if Erskinemen wm them in the coming tournament at Columbia, in April, they willbecome the property of the college. Seated on the right corner of the tablein the above picture is Mr. R. C. Grier, who has represented Erskine in singlesat both tournaments. Seated on the left corner of the table is Mr. W. , who, with a worthy colleague, last year won the contest in representatives for the present season will be chosen from the above squad. 104 tm
